The Pendle Young Musicians' Bursary was set up in 2012 to give young musicians a chance of gaining substantial funding to help them continue their musical studies. The bursary is going into its fifth competition and in 2020 the prize fund available will be £18,500.
This concert showcases selected competitors giving their first PYMB live performance in front of an audience and a panel of judges.
This year the bursary has received entries from many disciplines and genres and from a wide catchment area, whilst still encouraging the local musicians that are at the core of the bursary's foundation.
