Join Helen Dixon on this introduction to the drills, skills and fun of Nordic walking.
Nordic walking is a way of being in the great outdoors, using poles to propel yourself so that you don’t just walk, you walk faster and further.
During the session you will discover the difference between hiking and Nordic walking poles (and how to measure and adjust them), learn the basic walking techniques– including how to change speed and tackle hills (both up and down!) and practice single and double polling.
Poles will be provided but do bring your own if you have them.
(Face to face events will be subject to any coronavirus guidelines/restrictions which may bein place at the time.)
