Enjoy Mother's Day.  Mums go free weekend at Thornton Hall Country Park.

As a thank you to all the wonderful mums, step mums, grandmas, and mother figures, Thornton Hall are delighted to welcome you for free*.

Enjoy a fantastic family day out on the farm with plenty to see and do and don't forget to collect your free glass of Prosecco or orange juice* during your visit.

Winter update:
Some outdoor areas at the rear of the farm park are currently closed and will reopen on Saturday 14 March 2026, weather dependent.  This includes the Secret Garden, jumping pillows and pedal tractors.

There's still lots to enjoy, with four undercover animal barns, animal petting, bottle feeding, indoor soft play and diner all open.

What's waiting for you?
Indoor soft play fun (time slot required 9:30 – 11:00, 11:15 – 12:45, 13:00 – 14:30, 14:45pm – 16:15.  
Farm entry from 9:15 – 16:30 is included in your ticket price.
Let little ones burn off energy in the exciting indoor soft play area, featuring:
Multi-level slides.
Climbing volcano.
Baby and toddler area.
Role-play shops.
Meet friendly farm animals.  Say hello to goats, rabbits, and more.  Perfect for animal-loving little ones.

For the drown-ups:
Relax with a freshly brewed coffee or enjoy some delicious homemade food, whether you fancy a light bite or a hearty lunch.

What's included:
Indoor soft play with baby and toddler area (time slot).
Limited farm activities.
Animal petting.
Outdoor play (limited).
Jumping pillows (weather permitting).
Additional fun extras.  Weather permitting, availability may vary for safety reasons.
Caterpillar ride.
Farm safari.

Offers and exclusions:  kids pass not valid for this event.  School visit passes not valid.  £8.00 adult and child offer excluded.  Offer only available to online bookings.

Food and drink:  the diner (inside soft play), will be serving homemade burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, salads, and drinks.  The ​​​​​tsreet food trailer is closed for winter.  Dessert pod will be open in the main yard.  Picnics are welcome with outdoor tables available.  Picnics are not permitted inside the diner.  Please note there is no undercover picnic area.   Thornton Hall cater for allergens.  Please speak to a team member before ordering.

Important information and terms:  all prices exclude booking fee.  Vouchers can be used but not against the free Mmum or Prosecco offer.  Last entry: one hour before closing.  Last hot food orders: one hour before closing / end of time slot.  Online offer only.  Walk-ins do not qualify.  Walk-ins subject to availability.  * One free mum ticket with every full-paying child, including one free glass of Prosecco or orange juice.  Maximum one free 'mum' per household.  Tickets checked on entry.  Invalid free tickets will require payment.  Cannot be used with any other offer.
