On Saturday 5th October, Dogs for Good – the national charity which makes life-changing differences for people with disabilities through the help of trained assistance dogs – is inviting members of the public to meet some of its amazing volunteers, clients and puppies at Barton Grange Garden Centre in Brock, Preston.
From 10:00am to 5:00pm, the charity will be in the Green Room and will be speaking to customers about the fantastic work it does, running a tombola and selling merchandise.
Dogs for Good volunteers – known as puppy socialisers – Lindsay and Laura will be giving a talk about their work with the puppies they have trained, and there will also be the opportunity to meet some of the charity's wonderful assistance dogs and puppies in training!
Ahead of the event, Dogs for Good regional fundraiser Vicky Blackmore said "We're looking forward to returning to Barton Grange Garden Centre on Saturday 5th October and having the opportunity to speak with customers about the life-changing differences the charity makes.
"The staff at Barton Grange are so helpful and welcoming, and we're so grateful to the team for hosting Dogs for Good on several occasions over the past few years!"
