History Beneath Our Feet - Junior Archaeologists

Book your young archaeologists onto one of our brand new kids activities - unearth artefacts in our dig pits, clean and identify finds and get messy with some clay to make a medieval tile.
Join us at Clitheroe Castle Museum for an archaeo-tastic day! Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2022 and book your young archaeologists onto one of our brand new kids activities.

Unearth artefacts in our dig pits, clean and identify finds and get messy with some clay to make a medieval tile. Just £1.00 to take home, or leave behind for another young archaeologist to use next time. There's an artefact trail in the museum too and each young archaeologist will receive their very own certificate to take away!
