Using artefacts found around Clitheroe and our new research into the archaeological work done on Castle hill we will take you back in time to the history beneath your feet.
Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2022 and book onto our new archaeology tour around the Castle. Using artefacts found around Clitheroe and our new research into the archaeological work done on Castle hill we will take you back in time to the history beneath your feet.

You can also meet local archaeologists who will be on hand for the day to answer questions and chat about their work. There lots of activities for young archaeologists too. See our event pages for further details.

Our free tour starts at 2pm and will take about 45 minutes.
