History Beneath Our Feet - Archaeology Day at the Castle

Join us for an archaeo-tastic journey and celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2022. Meet local archaeologists who will be on hand for the day to answer your questions and share their knowledge. The Portable Antiquities Finds Liaison Officers will be with us too.

Find out more about the history beneath our feet in Lancashire and join our new bookable archaeology tour around the Castle. There's lots of family friendly fun so why not roll up your sleeves and book your young archaeologists onto one of our brand new kids activities. See our event entries for junior archaeologists and our castle archaeology tour for further details.
