A visit to Fleetwood Museum is a fascinating, family-friendly journey through time. Explore the town’s heritage from its Victorian origins, world renowned fishing industry and home of the famous Fisherman’s Friend lozenges, to the present day.
You are invited to join one of the free monthly heritage walks. Fascinating topics for 2022 include the Victoria town, deep sea fishing, and the military. All walks are led by local historian and Fleetwood Museum Trustee, Dick Gillingham.

Walks are free but voluntary donations are welcome.

Partner of Visit Lancashire 2018M55 (J3). Take A585 to Fleetwood, and follow the brown signs to the museum. The museum overlooks the River Wyre. Free on street parking is available outside the museum and the nearest pay and display car park is accessible from Custom House Lane, to the rear of the museum. FY7 6BY.
Railway - nearest railway station is Preston - then bus number 75 to Fleetwood.
