The Milky Way from Gisburn Forest. Photographer Robert Ince

A Bowland Dark Skies Festival event.

We're bringing our Dark Skies Festival (and the half term holiday) to a close with this lovely family event.

Get creative with Outdoors 4 All making simple lanterns around the stove at Wood End Farm, before taking a lantern-lit walk in the dusk to the Forest School for hot chocolate and marshmallows round the fire.

And if we're lucky we may get to experience some fantastic starry skies in the heart of Bowland!

Early booking recommended as places are limited. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

£5 per child. Booking essential. Please email sandra.silk@lancashire.gov.uk or phone 07973 923142.
