Skirting the northern boundary of the Forest of Bowland AONB, the 75-mile Bentham Line (aka the "Little North Western") travels between Leeds, Lancaster and Morecambe through some of the most scenic landscapes in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Join us online to find out about the history of the line from the mid-19th century to the present day; the communities it serves, the role it has played in the past (including links to the building of Stocks Reservoir) and how the local Community Rail Partnership is looking to the future through its green credentials and a pioneering Dementia & Community Rail programme.
Booking essential. To book a place please email sandra.silk@lancashire.gov.uk or phone 07973 923142
