3D needle felted mushroom and needle felted picture.
Join Charlotte for a relaxing and creative workshop where you'll learn how to create your own beautiful needle felted mushroom picture and 3D sculpture inspired by woodland walks and the quiet magic of nature.
Morning:
During the 1st part of the workshop, you'll learn how to transform loose wool fibres into a sculpted, three-dimensional mushroom using barbed felting needles. You'll also be shown how to safely handle felting needles and use a foam or wool mat.
You will create the shape of the mushroom then on to the fun bit where your piece takes on your personality as you colour and shade it in your choice of colours.
By the end, you'll have a charming, handcrafted 3D mushroom, completely unique and shaped by your own hands.
Afternoon:
In this hands-on session, Charlotte will guide you step-by-step through the process of "painting with wool" using specialist felting needles and soft, colourful fibres. You'll learn how to:
Blend and layer wool to create depth and texture
Shape and define your mushroom
Add shading, highlights and fine details.
Secure and finish your piece ready to frame
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some felting experience. All materials and tools are provided, and you'll leave with a finished felted mushroom artwork and 3D sculpture to take home and proudly display.
Expect a calm, friendly space where you can slow down, get creative, and connect with nature through wool.
