Pendle Leisure Trust is holding a Family Fun Day in aid of Pendleside Hospice.
The event will be held at one of the Trust's facilities – Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre in Nelson – on Saturday, September 10th, 11am – 3pm.
With the emphasis strongly on the word 'family', there will be free activities for all ages to enjoy – including a giant inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castle, games, activities and a mini Olympics on the running track for both parents and children to get involved in.
There will also be face painting, magic shows, balloon modelling, a rodeo bull, children's sandpit and giant outdoor games.
Although all the activities - which have been specifically chosen so both adults and children can take part in them - will be free, donations will be being collected for Pendleside Hospice.
Free parking will be available at Nelson and Colne College – just a short walk to Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre.
Sue Madigan, Pendle Leisure Trust's Publicity/PR Manager, said: "We want as many people as possible to come along and join us for what we are hoping will be an amazing day for the people of Pendle and beyond.
"This day is Pendle Leisure Trust's way of providing something for the local community, while at the same time raising money for a worthy cause very close to a lot of people's hearts.
"And it has not been possible without the support of some very generous local businesses. Speakman Contractors is the main event sponsor, with support from To Me To You Support Care Agency, Sportmax, Vision Graphics and Nelson and Colne College for allowing us to use its car park on the day.
"Pendle Leisure Trust is taking part in this year's Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge and we have even got some of our fellow hospice challengers joining us, which is brilliant!
"We really can't thank all our sponsors and supporters enough and we hope it's going to be a fantastic, fun-filled day for everyone - and we can raise as much money as possible for the hospice."
