Dutty Moonshine Big Band + Funke and the Two Tone Baby
The Beat Hearder Headliner's come to Clitheroe. All at The Grand are very excited to be hosting the highly anticipated 2020 "City of Sin" tour from the unparalleled Dutty Moonshine Big Band.

Audience pleasers of the highest order, the 14-piece Big Band will be back with a brand new stage show and bags upon bags of new and unheard bass driven treats. It's going to be a riot.

Fusing heavy UK bass with jazz, this is a high octane live show, fronted by Grime and Hip Hop MCs. This band are carving a path to popular success and they're taking no prisoners.

Have you ever heard Duke Ellington's "Caravan" performed as a huge Garage banger? Or a 12 bar Blues manipulated into a Half time DnB/Carnival anthem? Or a New Orleans funeral song turned into a whisky soaked mid tempo Breaks dancefloor destroyer?
We know you haven't because there's only one band in the entire world like these guys!

The big band is the brainchild of Michael Rack aka Dutty Moonshine, a successful DJ who's toured four continents and entertained thousands up thousands with his take on 1930's meets dirty bass.

The band have enjoyed a successful Kickstarter campaign for an album, a huge run of shows through 2016 and 2017 that's seen them play only main stages at festivals and sold out club shows in whichever city they visited.

2019 witnessed the biggest and baddest festival season for the 14-piece onslaught and saw them conquer stages at the likes of Wilderness, Beatherder, Glastonbury and Valleyfest with a unique take on 1920's jazz that has been fused together with future sounds from the bass music underground and fronted by two of the UK's best MC's, Maria Laveau and Hyperman Sage.

Playing 20-dates across March and April, Dutty Moonshine Big Band are heading to a venue near you. It is time to get ready for the unexpected.

Support comes the way of the brilliant Funke and the Two Tone Baby - a one man sonic explosion. Uncategorized and uncharted. Jammed halfway between frenzied alt-blues and metronomic dance beats. Combining guitar and harmonica with beatboxing and effects that seamlessly collide the organic with the mechanical to create a fresh sound of unstoppable rhythm and unrelenting melody.

Warming the venue up, we are delighted to welcome Logan and Manley, who bring their exceptional presence, and soulful, mellow grooves to the party.

Looping layers of melodic keys, driving drums, sublime guitars and vocals that shake the core, feel the love from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.

Favourites at Lancashire festivals such as Beatherder and Cloudspotting, Logan and Manley are taking their reggae and soul tinged tunes to an ever-increasing audience.
