As the demands of her job as a High Court judge cause her marriage to Jack (Stanley Tucci) to reach tipping point, Fiona (Emma Thompson) must decide if she should order a life-saving blood transfusion for a talented teen (Fionn Whitehead) who is suffering from leukaemia and refusing – along with his parents - to accept medical treatment for religious reasons.
Expect some outstanding performances from the cast in this touching tale which focuses on a controversial and sensitive subject.
