Clitheroe Clog Fest Day of Dance

Clitheroe Clog Weekend is back. Join clog dancers from near and far for music and merriment as they clog dance their way round the beautiful market town of Clitheroe. Dancing starts at Clitheroe Castle at 10.30. Watch up to ten teams dance before they head out across the town. See full programme below for timings and locations.

  • Dancing at the Castle from 10.30 – 12 noon
  • Dancing at the Market and Holmes Mill at 1.15 and 2.15
  • Mass Dance finale 3.30 at Clitheroe Castle

Clog maker Phil Howard will be at Clitheroe Castle throughout the day. Phil makes the whole clog, sole and uppers as well as cutting his own shods, heels and brass toe tins so be sure to call in and see some beautiful examples of a traditional British craft.

On display in the Steward's Gallery will be the museum's latest free exhibition dedicated to clogs.
