Chorley Flower Show 2019

Chorley Flower Show returns to Astley Park for the fifth year on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July. This spectacular event, which scooped a prestigious Lancashire Tourism Award for 'Tourism Event of the Year', is the perfect day out for anyone who likes gardening, plants and flowers. Plus, with children’s activities and delicious food and drink, it’s a treat for all the family.

About the show

Chorley Flower Show is a two-day event, where visitors can see and speak to gold-medal winning entrants from some of the country’s biggest shows in the professional exhibitors’ marquee. There's a chance to see the Garden of Reflection created by gold medal winning designer John Everiss and visitors can meet expert and celebrity gardeners who will give them top tips on how to improve their garden.

Plus attendees will be able to get all the essentials for their garden with the show’s wide variety of trade stands, which will sell something for every garden. Anyone attending the show can also take a tour of the historic Astley Hall, which will feature an amazing floral photographic exhibition as well as flower decorations and more.

See the amazing amateur marquee with regional competitions hosted by the National Sweet Pea Society and Rose Society UK. Plus there’s also the opportunity to be a part of the show and put applications in at chorleyflowershow.com.

Food and entertainment

Enjoy a picnic on the beautiful lawns with plenty of entertainment throughout the day for all the family including horticultural demonstrations, children’s activities, food and drink and relaxing music to enjoy. With Cafe Ambio and an afternoon tea marquee serving delicious treats plus a wide variety of food and drink stalls serving local produce, visitors’ taste buds will be spoilt for choice.
