Back by popular demand. The wonderful Jo from Creation Station will be back at the Nursery in February half-term with some more seasonal children's workshops. This time the theme is Mardi Gras carnival, New Orleans style, ready for Shrove Tuesday.
Three different workshops in one day. Do one, or join them all. All sessions are for ages 5 - 12 years.
10.00: create a carnival headdress.
You will be making a wild carnival headdress in time for Shrove Tuesday. Feathers, tulle, and beads in all colours of the rainbow. Use your imagination or be inspired by bugs.
12:00: create a carnival mask.
Inspired by butterflies and exotic birds, decorate your own carnival mask in time for Shrove Tuesday. Feathers, sequins and ribbons will be provided to transform your face.
14:00: carnival cloak or wings.
Make a cloak or wings for your carnival costume. Paint markers, gems and sequins available to make it uniquely, utterly spectacular.
