Paint your own ceramic candle jar and pour your own candle, inspired by seasonal flowers and fresh summer scents. Two workshops in one day, resulting in a beautiful handmade keepsake to take home. Join local botanical artist Elle Morse and candlemaker Nicola Heaney from The Blue Barn Candle Company for a relaxed and inspiring creative day.
The day begins with a ceramic painting workshop led by Elle, running from 10:30 to 12:30. She will guide you through colour, brushwork, and floral techniques, first practicing on paper before moving on to decorating your own ceramic candle jar with vibrant, summer inspired flowers and foliage.
Lunch will be served from 12:30 to 13:30, with refreshments and a full buffet lunch enjoyed together in the potting shed. The day then continues with the candle making workshop led by Nicola Heaney from The Blue Barn Candle Company, running from 13:30 to 15:30. Nicola will guide you through the basics of candle making as you choose from a range of beautiful fragrances, prepare your hand-painted ceramic jar, and mix and pour your own candle, completing your unique botanical keepsake.
All materials are provided, along with refreshments and lunch, making this a perfect creative day to relax, learn new skills, and take home something truly special.
