British Textile Biennial: Queen Street Mill

Queen Street Mill are delighted to be working in partnership with Super Slow Way to deliver the first British Textile Biennial. Throughout October the programme throws a spotlight on the nation's creativity, innovation and expression in textiles against the backdrop of the cotton industry.

Queen Street Mill is hosting the work of two renowned international textile artists who were commissioned to create new work, Anna Ray and Daksha Patel.

Also during October our own artist in residence Raisa Kabir will deliver weaving workshops with invited communities on 17th and 18th,and present a durational performance interacting with the space and some of the objects on Saturday 19th.
