Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On 2021

The 2021 Illuminations will see the Lights shine nightly for an extended four month season starting from Friday 3rd September to Monday 3rd January. 

The switch-on party will take place on Friday 3rd Septemeber where 2020’s biggest breakthrough artist, KSI, and one of the UK's most successful indie bands, The Wombats, will perform in the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Friday 3 September.. KSI will join the stage with his special guests Digital Farm Animals and music artist and producer S-X. Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Ella Henderson and Wes Nelson will also join this year's line-up. 

Shirley Ballas, one of the world’s most accomplished dancers and now head judge on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, will pull the switch, triggering the start of a four-month extended Illuminations season. The evening is produced in association with MTV, and the show will be hosted by TV and radio presenter Becca Dudley.
