With over £2 million invested in new cycle facilities in the area and more routes to follow, the borough of Burnley is becoming some of the best areas in the north to cycle.

If your walking, that's no problem! Most of our greenways are shared between walkers and cyclists and offer quick, healthy and relaxing ways to get round the area, whether walking to work or school, strolling with the dog, exploring the countryside or going for a jog. Walking gives you many of the health benefits of cycling, saves you even more cash and for short journeys is almost as quick!
