The Calf's Head

The Calf’s Head is a stunning country inn set in the heart of the Ribble Valley located in the conservation village of Worston, a few miles from Clitheroe and within minutes of the A59.  The inn boasts stunning views of Pendle Hill, extensive gardens outside, a roaring log fire. It’s the place for families to get together, businesses to meet and for walker’s and cyclists to mingle and dine.  The inn offers an extensive menu of choices and is served in the ‘Glass House’, dining room or in the bar area.  Weather permitting, lunch and dinner are also served on the decking over looking the stream and gardens or in the gardens itself. Whether you would like breakfast, lunch or dinner the Calf’s Head provides many choices and ample portions. On Sunday you can enjoy the very popular carvery between 12-3pm but pre-booking is advised.  12 bedrooms are available from double ensuites through to a deluxe suite with separate lounge and spa pool.   There are also facilities for private parties, functions and weddings.
