The Platform, Morecambe Music and Entertainment Venue

The Platform is Morecambe’s newest events venue and has completed the transformation of the old Promenade Railway Station. It hosts a strong touring programme from jazz and blues to world music, folk and classical. The Platform also puts on an extensive range of workshops, recitals, lectures, regular sequence dances and community events. In addition to The Platform, the Station Building also includes Morecambe’s Tourist Information Centre, the Morecambe offices of the City Council’s Tourism Service, together with The Station pub and Wacky Warehouse - a children’s fun area.
