Lancashire is a county renowned for its strong cycling tradition, and what better way to explore the countryside, coast and towns of Lancashire than by two wheels.

From quiet lanes and off road cycle trails to the adrenaline pumping peaks and troughs of moorland routes, cycling in Lancashire is accessible to everyone.

Cycle west to the flat coastal plains, where you will find a network of rural lanes linking attractive villages and farm land. The east of the county becomes more challanging, as you climb up into the Bowland and Pennine Hills or follow the winding river valleys of the Lune and Ribble for scenic journeys and stunning landscapes. Peddle to the centre of the British Isles at Dunsop Bridge for a great family bike rides or go off-road through the woodland of Gisburn Forest.
