A West Pennine Moors Trail, Darwen Tower celebrates Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 and to many local people it also celebrated the freeing of Darwen Moor in the previous year.

A West Pennine Moors Trail starting at Sunnyhurst Wood Lychgate car park, this circular walk takes in some fantastic views of the surrounding countryside from Darwen Moors.

Observe views of the Preston skyline, pass under railway bridges and follow riverside paths on this ramble in South Ribble.

A five mile ramble beginning at the Visitor Centre and taking in Longton marsh, the Ribble Way and the old Preston to Southport railway line.

This three mile ramble takes in Worden Park's Arboretum, Shawbrook stream and fantastic views across the Lancashire plain.

Eight walks of different ability around Lancaster, Morecambe and the Lune Valley. Walks range from 3 to 9 miles.

This ramble takes in some of the best countryside in the area and footpaths go close to a spectacular river valley but in certain parts it can be quite strenuous.

A very pleasing three mile walk through lowland Lancashire on the extreme western edge of South Ribble.

Admire views over Preston and the Bowland Moors and see the very old Catholic Church of St. Josephs on this ramble that crosses stiles and streams in South Ribble.
