The Farm, Burscough - Farm Shop

The Neale family, farmers in luscious West Lancashire for four generations, welcome you to The Farm Burscough, a working farm with a recently renovated 18th century barn housing a stylish tea room, farm shop and B&B accommodation to boot.

The farm shop sells award-winning homemade preserves and home-grown seasonal vegetables, some of which have also been recognised through awards including the fennel, romanesco and two varieties of potato. The shop also sells meats, poultry, cakes and dairy products of the highest quality all supplied by local producers. Don’t forget to pick up a pot of the Farm’s lime curd, winner of the chutneys and preserves category in the Fine Food Northwest awards 2010.

The tea room is situated next to the farm shop and offers yummy home-cooked meals and homemade cakes, chutneys and preserves, as well as using fresh produce from the farm. Whether you fancy starting off the day with a bacon butty, catching up with friends over lunch or spoiling yourself with a freshly baked scone, mother and daughter team Freda and Cathy will cook you up a treat.
