Member of Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board 2009Queen Street Mill is a unique survivor of the textile industry. The Mill represents the last commercial steam powered textile weaving mill in the world. Queen Street closed in 1982 but is today preserved as a museum offering a unique experience to re-live the days when steam ran the world.
The collection held in the Queen Street Mill Textile Museum along with that of sister museum Helmshore Mills Textile Museum has been designated as being of national importance.
Visitors to the museum can see demonstrations of the Victorian steam engine, boilers and Lancashire looms.

New Opening: From May to September 2007 The Queen Street Mill Textile Museum will be open Sunday afternoons from 12 noon until 5pm.
