Nuffield Theatre

"The Nuffield Theatre is one of the most important venues in the UK for contemporary performance, with a programme that is always a fantastic mix of new discoveries and established innovators"
- Tim Etchells, Forced Entertainment

The Nuffield Theatre is a space where artists, audiences and young people can see, make and discuss stunning live performance. Our mission is to present and help create the very best in challenging contemporary theatre, dance, live art and performance.

We're known for our groundbreaking work in developing young artists, as well as regularly commissioning major new works from established companies. We also provide many exciting opportunities for you to get involved with the creative process of talented, cutting-edge artists.

The Nuffield Theatre and the Dukes in Lancaster are continuing to promote 'A NIGHT LESS ORDINARY', a new national scheme that's allowing Lancaster's two most exciting theatre venues to team up and offer thousands of free tickets to local young people over the next two years. To book your free tickets now, just call the Nuffield box office on 01524 594151 or the Dukes on 01524 598500.
