Welcome Assessment Scheme

The Walkers & Cyclists Charter Marque is a UK wide scheme, which was developed with expert advice and support from Natural England and the Youth Hostel Association, giving walkers and cyclists the confidence that they are booking quality accommodation that meets their particular needs.

Criteria for the scheme includes the provision of space for drying outdoor clothing and footwear, secure storage for bicycles, provision of puncture repair kits and other useful services specific to the needs of walkers and cyclists.
