Producers Month

Dewlay CheeseOctober is Lancashire Producers' Month, offering you the perfect opportunity to experience Lancashire's array of fresh, locally sourced food in a number of different ways.

Purchase it from one of the farm shops or popular Farmers' Markets where you can even get tips on how best to cook what you've bought. Taste beautifully cooked local produce in a Taste Lancashire quality assured place to eat, follow a food trail or take a trip to one of our food producers for a look at how the fresh raw materials are made into something delicious. Visit one of the food events taking place during the month such as the Garstang Food Festival, a week long food and drink extravaganza and Rural Rossendale Walking Festival offering the Soup Loop, Fudge Trudge and the Wind Turbines and Whisky Tour.
