Ski Rossendale

Ski Rossendale is the Northwest’s biggest and best outdoor ski and snowboard centre, and one of the best snow sport venues in the North West of England, situated in the picturesque Rossendale Valley. Located just off the M66, we are just 12 miles north of Manchester and are easily reached from West Yorkshire, Cheshire, Cumbria and Merseyside.

The centre consists of three slopes which vary in difficulty, height and gradient. Learning to ski or snowboard at Ski Rossendale will open up a whole new world of opportunity for you, it could include a range of new adventurous winter holidays, meeting new friends, or even competing in the many events we hold each year.

Learn to ski and snowboard with the UK’s best instructors and coaches. First class tuition from our very experienced instructors ensures that you get the most from your ski or snowboard lessons.

The facilities include: Main Slope: 180m Dendex with a Snowflex quarter-pipe. 2 Button Tows. Fun Park: 80m Snowflex, 2 jumps, 1 box, 1 up-flat-down box, 1 flat-down rail. 1 Button Tow. Nursery Slope: (lessons only) 2 Rope Tows plus Britain's first Sun Kid Travelator Lift.

You don't have to worry about equipment as ski, snowboard and helmet hire are included in the price. All beginners must take tuition to ensure they reach the required standard whereby they can control their speed, change direction and safely use the lifts; this tuition must be pre-booked.

There is a restaurant with fantastic views overlooking the valley and the activities. For more information please visit the website.
