Member of Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board 2009Nestled at the foot of Pendle, the Calf's Head has become a very popular Ribble Valley location to eat, sleep, meet and even get married. Since buying it in 1998, the current owners continue to give it their personal attention.
The hotel has eleven en-suite bedrooms furnished to a high quality.
Calf's Head dining is as varied as most could wish. the extensive menu is served in the dining room, the 'Glass House', with views over Pendle. Weather permitting, dinner is served on the decking over the stream or in the garden itself. On Sunday you can enjoy a three course carvery from 12-3pm. Facilities exist for private parties and functions.
Leave M6 at Junction 31, follow A59 and signs for Worston. The Calf's Head is in Worston village just 300 metres from the main road.
Nearest bus station Clitheroe, nearest train station Preston, sub station Clitheroe. No local bus service but short taxi ride from Clitheroe.
