The Sparrowhawk

The Sparrowhawk in Fence is situated on the fringe of the Pendle Forest and is easily accessible from the M65.

Originally the Sparrowhawk building is thought to be a farmstead dating to the 17th Century. Today the Sparrowhawk is a country pub serving fresh food, cask ales and decent wine with a function room ideal for business meetings or functions.

Local fresh ingredients are sourced for the chefs to prepare tasty wholesome dishes. The food is served every lunch time, evening and all day at the weekends.

Every care is taken with the cask ales and they try, where possible, to keep them as local as they can. There is also an extensive wine list and many are available by the glass.
