World Horse Welfare Penny Farm Open Day is the biggest event in the farm's year! Gates open at 10am for a fun packed day of demonstrations, childrens activities and loads more. The Open day is the 24th September 2011.

Enjoy displays and demonstrations from the horses and riders of the Kings Troop RHA in the main ring. You'll be impressed by their horsemanship and skill, not to mention the equestrian beauty of the horses on parade.

There's plenty for non-horsey types with Made in Lancashire Food stalls, children's entertainers, fairground rides, bands, donkey rides and lots more.

This is a great day out for the whole family.
Admission charge is £2 for adults and £1 for children

Horsemans Sunday - 2nd October at Penny Farm.The service is open to riders who want to bring along their horses to be blessed and to spectators and will start at 12 noon. The service will be conducted by Cannon Godfrey Hurst.
