Animal Attractions in Lancashire and Blackpool

Blackpool ZooWith so much open countryside it’ll be no surprise to learn that Lancashire is a haven for wildlife, both in the wild and at animal attractions or zoos. Take the family to visit a farm animal attraction such as Farmer Parrs Animal World or Farmer Ted’s Farm Park, and you’ll meet animals like sheep, cows, chickens and pigs. Or see more unusual zoo and wild creatures like wallabies, llama, wild boar and red squirrels at Bowland Wild Boar Country Park. Bird lovers will be in their element as Lancashire has a variety of reserves which attract hundreds of species of native and migrating birds.
