Stanley Park is now waving its Green Flag

Stanley Park has been awarded a Green Award from The Civic Trust for its architecture, horticulture and recreation facilities.

The park benefited from a £5 million Heritage Lottery Fund grant to restore the art deco cafe and surrounding car park and terraces, the tennis court pavillion, conservatories and various kiosks throughout the park.

Now all the work has paid off and the park has been recognised for its 390 acres of landscape design and historical splendour.
