Home / Latest news from Lancashire and Blackpool / Rufford Old Hall Joins Forces with Cadbury this Easter
Families in Lancashire looking to celebrate a traditional Easter activity this year should look no further than Rufford Old Hall. This year, Rufford Old Hall's annual Easter Egg Trail is supported by Cadbury, the UK confectionery company which is giving an Easter egg to every child who completes the trail*.
The event at Rufford Old Hall takes place on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd March, 11am - 4pm. Gnome Hunt and Craft tickets £3 per child, Gnome Hunt £1 per child.
The Easter Egg Trail provides a great day out for families to enjoy together. Egg hunters will follow a trail and hunt for gnomes around the gardens of Rufford Old Hall. On their return, they will receive a free Cadbury `Egghead` Easter egg. In addition, visitors can take part in craft sessions throughout both days. Craft tickets are available on the day and will go on sale at 11am. Limited number of tickets available per session.
Cadbury's support of the National Trust Easter Egg Trail is part of the company's 'Purple goes Green' initiative, a programme to reduce its impact on the environment. The Cadbury 'Egghead' Easter eggs, which are the trail prizes, are unboxed so use 70 per cent less cardboard packaging than the equivalent sized egg; creating less waste. The confectionery company is contributing £150,000 to the National Trust Ancient Trees and Woodland conservation programme as part of the Easter Egg trail activity and its commitment to the environment.
