Adventure Golf
The eagle eyed will have noticed work beginning on the crazy golf site at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool - the amusement park is set to tee off for the 2008 season with an exciting new Adventure Golf course.
Sited on Flagstaff Gardens, just outside the park, the 12 hole course will feature an eye catching 21st century design, brilliant landscaping and state of the art holes to entertain both young and old. Look out for the water hazard on holes 11 & 6, and tackle the figure eight spectacular on hole 9 - a first to the UK!

Those who are more likely to bunker and bogey than pitch and putt will be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from the benches situated around the course, or enjoy refreshments from the on-site café.
Adventure Golf marks almost £1/2 million of investment in Pleasure Beach, following £8 million in 2007 to bring suspended looping coaster Infusion to the park. The golf will add a dramatic new dimension to the council's 'Promenade Show' and compliments Blackpool's Masterplan for improvement and regeneration.
Commenting on the new attraction, Pleasure Beach Managing Director Amanda Thompson said: "Adventure Golf will improve the overall look of the promenade and offers a significant new statement in the realm of public art. I'm sure it will be great fun for all the family and is yet another fantastic addition to Pleasure Beach."
There's a fair-way to go yet, but the course is planned to open to the public around Easter 2008.
