ITV's Wish You Were Here in Blackpool

Popular TV travel programme `Wish You Were Here` turns its attention to Blackpool on Wednesday 23 January, when Blackpool takes centre stage during a special half hour programme called `Wish You Were Here - Now &Then`.

It's a nostalgic look at the resort from 1979 contrasted with the Blackpool of today as it embarks on the process to re-invent itself as a 21st century World Class Resort.

Featuring from the Blackpool of today is the current Taste of Lancashire and Blackpool Award winner from the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards, Kwizeen, one of the many restaurants helping to promote Lancashire's food and drink year, Taste Lancashire 08.

You can watch the programme on ITV1 on the 23rd at 4.30pm and enjoy sights including Blackpool Tower and Circus, Blackpool Zoo and the Pleasure Beach - the UK's most popular attraction.
