Garstang have proudly gained one of the top gold awards in the European Entente Florale contest.
The award means that Garstang is officially one of the best places to live in Europe and one of Europe's most eco-friendly communitites.
The award will be boost Garstang's exisiting international status as the world's first Fairtrade town as well as bringing more tourists to the area.
