Cool way to celebrate summer

Skate into summer at the Arena at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool as it launches a whole new programme of Summer Skate School courses to keep the youngsters active and entertained during the extended break.

Ice skating is the latest craze to sweep the nation following the success of ITV1's Dancing on Ice, featuring Blackpool's very own Dan Whiston who learnt his skating skills at the Pleasure Beach Arena. Plus it's a fun way to stay in shape and can assist with balance and co-ordination; so is the ideal activity for youngsters.

Learn to skate at the home of the spectacular Hot Ice show and be taught by fully qualified NISA (National Ice Skating Association) instructors. All ages and abilities are catered for and everyone successfully completing a course will receive a certificate for the relevant skill level.

Each week long course runs from Monday to Saturday at 9.45am for levels one to five and from 9.15am for levels six to ten. Courses available for an incredible £42 which includes skate hire, a free public skating session each day and a complimentary seat to a Saturday performance of Hot Ice - The Mix!
