Ribble Valley on Country Tracks

Yesterday the BBC showed an episode of Country Tracks that will stop you in your tracks. If you missed Liz Bonnin's journey through the Ribble Valley you can watch it again on the BBC iPlayer.

Liz crosses Cromwell's ancient bridge over the River Hodder and raises a flag at Clitheroe Castle. You will also see the history of 'Whistle Down the Wind' filming in Pendle and the true Centre of the British Isles at Dunsop Bridge.

You will also take a nostalgic look at the Post Office in Downham and be reminded of why a trip to the Forest of Bowland is a must-do.
