Craig Chalmers returns by popular demand as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat explodes into Blackpool’s Grand Theatre from August 4th to 23rd.

August sizzles at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre as BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do finalist CRAIG CHALMERS returns for three thrilling weeks in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from Tuesday 4th August to Sunday 23rd August.

Craig delighted television audiences week after week in 2007 with his stunning vocal talents and professionalism and was, in fact, one of the most popular contestants in the smash-hit reality show which searched for a new leading man to play Joseph in an exciting new West End production.

Following his success on Any Dream Will Do, Craig impressed renowned theatre impresario and show judge Bill Kenwright so much he offered Craig the leading role of Joseph in his new UK national tour! So Craig got to fulfill his dream after all!

Craig has been performing as Joseph to great acclaim across the UK since August 2007 and he is overjoyed to be donning the Technicolor Dreamcoat once again at Blackpool’s Grand in August 2009.

With sensational reviews, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat continues to enjoy huge success throughout the country with standing ovations at every performance. Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the famous coat of many colours, this magical family musical is full of unforgettable songs including Any Dream Will Do, Close Ev’ry Door To Me and One More Angel.
