Chorley is famed for its market having been granted a charter for a market in the 1250's.
Today the main market day is Tuesday when the over 100 stalls selling all manner of goods fill the town centre.

And on the third Thursday of every second month, we hold the Farmer's and Local Produce Market, on Market Street.
