Conveniently situated on a working farm in a quiet location at the gateway to the Ribble Valley. Perfect base for exploring the Ribble Valley, Lancashire coastal resorts, the Forest of Bowland, the Pendle Witch Country, historic market towns and local mill shops. There are also many good local pubs and restaurants.

Proven House is a recent and sympathetically converted stone farm building providing ground floor self catering accommodation within the farmyard complex. It comprises of one twin - bedroom with adjustable beds , en suite wetroom / toilet, lounge and kitchen / dining room, all retaining exposed stonewalls, beams, enhanced with oak flooring and stone flag effect flooring in the well-equipped kitchen. Full central heating. Bed linen and towels included at no extra cost.

Laneside farm is a small family working beef / sheep farm, with a pedestrian / wheelchair access across 500 metres of our farmland.

Road Directions

M6 Northbound -

Leave at junction 31A follow signs for B6242 (B6243) to Longridge. At the 3rd roundabout turn left for Longridge. At the 3rd roundabout turn left for Longridge. Drive through Grimsargh Village until you see Alston White Bull on the right. Take next right into Alston Lane. We are the last farm on the right (approx 250m).

M6 Southbound -

Leave at Junction 32. Take A6 (Garstang) and turn right at last major junction to Longridge (B5260). Follow the road through Goosnargh and Whittingham and turn right at the roundabout in Longridge. Turn right at the mini roundabout by the Old Oak, past spout Nurseries and Alston Dairy on left. Take next left into Alston Lane. Proceed as above.

Public Transport Directions

Stand 41 Preston bus station. Alight at Alston at Alston White Bull. Proceed down Alston Lane (approx 250m) 10 min walk. Lane Side Farm is the first farm on the right.
