Lancashire wins at Group Travel Organiser Awards

Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board (LBTB) would like to congratulate Visit Blackpool and Oswaldtwistle Mills for winning in their categories at the Group Travel Organiser Awards.

Visit Blackpool won 'Most Group-Friendly UK Destination' for the second year running while Oswaldtwistle Mills picked up the award for 'Best Market, Mill Shop or Factory Outlet for Groups' for an amazing fourth year!

Broadway Hotel, Morecambe
The Auckland Hotel, Morecambe

Best Coach Operator
Fraser Eagle, Blackburn

Best On-Line Information Service
Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board

The glittering ceremony was held on 20 June at the Radisson Hotel in Portmans Square, London and was attended by representatives from LBTB, Visit Balckpool, Oswaldtwistle Mills, and Clifton Park Hotel.

Although not all finalists were winners in their categories the night was a great success for Lancashire as a group travel destination showing that there are many quality places to stay and visit when travelling to the region.
