Group Travel > The Gibbon Bridge Hotel
Gibbon Bridge is a four-star, privately owned hotel and restaurant, nestling in 23 acres of beautiful gardens, surrounded by the Forest of Bowland. The family farm for over 30 years, Gibbon Bridge was lovingly converted into an award-winning hotel by Janet Simpson and her late mother Margaret in 1982. Today, it is a unique place to visit with a special atmosphere: this is the Gibbon Bridge.
Thirty spacious bedrooms and split-level suites offer superb accommodation with many complete with whirlpool baths and four poster or half tester beds.
Gibbon Bridge hosts a superb restaurant with magnificent views and a reputation for delicious food that utilises local produce and fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs from its own extensive kitchen gardens. Private and al fresco dining is a speciality with the opportunity to dine in one of three thatched pergolas.
The hotel is well placed when exploring the historic site, market towns and villages in the area. Additional facilities include: Executive meeting rooms, helicopter pad, gymnasium, steam room, tennis court, licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
