Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board has teamed up with Made In Lancashire and Quality in Tourism to produce a new quality award scheme for eating establishments. The partnership recognises the importance of the food and drink industry to Lancashire, and has developed this scheme to give acknowledgement to those establishments who provide a consistently high quality eating experience.
Here are some ideas for Taste Lancashire Assessed eating establishments all welcomming groups.
Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Take a traditional high tea in the magnificent Tower Ballroom then explore the rest of the Tower. Sit and listen to the mighty Wurlitzer organ that rises up through the stage and watch the world dance before you. You can even take a twirl on the dance floor yourself.
The Four Seasons Restaurant at The Chadwick Hotel, Lytham St Annes
Offering beautiful panoramic sea views from the lounge areas and dishes including local sea food specialities, traditional English cooking and popular international recipes.
Cobble Hey Farm Tea Rooms, Near Garstang
Excellent tearoom with gift shop where all refreshments are made on the premises from local produce. A large garden with many unusual plants along with a plant nursery to enable you to take that special plant home.
Guys Thatched Hamlet and Old Nells Tavern, Bilsborrow
