The East Lancs Railway is a mainly steam hauled service between Heywood, Bury - Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall. This popular steam railway offers a day out for all the family, get all trimmings you expect on a railway (tunnels, level crossings etc).
You can break your journey at any station to visit the shops, Dickensian Ramsbottom or the fabulous Bury Market, rejoin the East Lancs Railway and complete your journey. Ideal place for the family whatever the weather.
