Astley Bonfire and Fireworks

Enjoy the spectacular bonfire and fireworks display in Astley Park from 6.30pm – 8pm

Join Chorley Council in Astley Park, Chorley, for a spectacular bonfire and fireworks display with the magnificent Astley Hall as the backdrop. Watch one of the country's best fireworks display teams light up the Chorley skies with a splendour of colour.

The event will take place on Astley Park's playing fields from 6.30pm on Friday 1 November with the bonfire being lit at 7pm and the fireworks display launching at 7.30pm. There will be some food stalls for people to grab a quick bite to eat and attendees are being encouraged to come dressed for the weather and ground conditions – wellies and boots are recommended.

Entry to the event is free but there will be collection buckets for voluntary donations. Parking for this event is in Chorley town centre, with all council car parks free after 5pm. The paths from the Park Road and Queens Road entrances to Astley Park will have some lighting to help families find their way to the playing fields. There will be limited parking on Hallgate car park and restrictions will be put in place across Astley Village.
